I am a passionate, dedicated, and adaptable professional who believes that outstanding teams form the core of every successful business.  I take great pride in building high-trust, high-performing teams and have over 18 years of experience as a hiring manager.  I have rolled that expertise into a career in recruiting and human resources management, and now I bring teams to the next level.  I use my communication skills to build relationships with employees and managers and deliver excellent experiences to both.

I am the Human Resources Manager for a multi-unit Optometry practice, working on a part-time, remote basis.  I handle all aspects of HR including employee relations, payroll, benefits, recruiting, and performance management.  I partner closely with the Office Manager and the Owner to strategize about business growth and HR issues.  During my time with this company, I have helped to transform their corporate culture and have also revamped the organizational structure to empower employees and streamline operations.

I served Azenta Life Sciences as a genomics recruiter, filling Lab Technician and Associate Scientist roles. I provided excellent experiences to candidates while helping to create efficient and successful teams. I began this role as a Manager responsible for delivering the Starbucks Experience to our partners and customers.  I was then assigned to a Hiring Specialist project, in which I performed full cycle recruiting for 6 Starbucks locations; handling sourcing, ATS management, interviewing and onboarding.

I sourced, recruited, hired and developed teams for 4 Bose stores, while also delivering results in key performance indicators.  In addition to running all aspects of my business, I was asked to manage a variety of special projects outside of my own store.
